We enjoy furnishing the bed-sitting room according to our guests’ needs. The queen sized double bed is a fixture, and there is a comfortable large single bed at the other end of the room which is dressed as a divan when not needed. We can put in one or two single 165cm long beds in the room too if required. Alternatively we also have a child’s cot which is suitable for toddlers up to about 3 years old. There is underfloor heating in this room, a television with about 100 channels and two windows looking out to the south facing garden.
There are books for all ages in the book-shelves and games and puzzles in the drawers and cupboards under the shelves.
Above is a view through the window from the double bed. This was taken on an extremely cold January mid-day so it was comforting to be indoors in a warm room with lots of books, television (including Netflix if you have a subscription) and games/toys.
